few nitrous questions
what is the difference in price between a wet and dry nitrous kit? What exactly is the difference between the two? which would be best to use on an NA with regards to lowest cost and not having to worry about blowing anything up? and also how big of a shot could be used safely? any suggestions on brands?

Re: few nitrous questions
A wet kit spray N2O and fuel into your throttle bodies. This kit is the cheapest to set-up and IMO the most dangerous. With that fuel spraying in your throttle bodies there is a risk that you can fry your engine. Check here:

Dry kits only spray N20 into the TBs, which is much safer if your fuel system can supply enough fuel. In the 300s cash you need upgraded injectors and the JWT N20 Ecu. This kit costs some cash because of the accessories you need.
On a wet shot (which I would never use) I would never go higher than 50
Dry- 75-100
Direct Port injection(dry shot with separate N20 injectors for each cylinder, located close to the cylinders) 125shot.

Re: few nitrous questions
Good points, I have a Venom kit on the way for my 1990 NA and will be posting a review on the product, pricing, performance. I am not changing the stock injectors yet and will run a 50shot. Everyone I have talked to, read up on say that the stock injectors will supply enough fuel for the 50shot. Anything above that will require an upgrade. The kit comes with an air/fuel gauge and apparently the system will not fire if the mixture is not correct so I am counting on it saving my Bacon if the injectors can't push the fuel.
For now though the 50 will do just fine since my car kicks *** already and this should be just that little extra to smack those Ford Rustangs when they deserve it!
The Dry kit cost me $1000CAD plus shipping and then cost of the N2O itself which around here is about $80/cad/LBS.

Re: few nitrous questions
I haven't installed it yet, its on the way so I can't answer that.
Once I install it I will write up a post and let those interested know hoe the kit was and what it did for the Z. From what other guys are telling me a 50shot from a 10lb bottle will be good for about 350secs approx. Since the kit I bought and most every other one out there now has a fire on full throttle position switch its only on when you are racing and have your foot to the mat. If you figure a run on the 1/4 takes you about 14-15sec thats about 23 1/4mile runs. Here the refils are $80/lbs (thats Candian$)
