Frame help? new to the z

Hey there guys I have a z32 1991 non turbo 300zx looking at trading my civic for. only thing is it has been in an accident and had the frame bent. apparrently the owner spent heaps of money in order to fix the frame damage. what i want to know is 1. should I even consider it since it has had damage and 2. is it possible to fix the frame enough that it is still safe and you can still corner hard on it? I like to corner fast so this is something im worried about. thanks guys it was hit just below the drivers side door before the fender like right on the side skirt.

Welcome to ZDriver!

Was the car totaled / salvaged? (sounds like it if the owner had to pay a lot to get the work done).
Who did the work? When? Paperwork? Warranty? Was it ever re-registered and driven after the accident?

hey there yeah it was never under a salvage title and aparently he took it someplace in the NE calgary to get it pulled by a certified person. he says he went to put new control arms on it and thats when the problem was discovered. After discovering the frame was bent he got it straightened and then put the new control arms on. For the damage he says it was 1-2 inches off.

you can't do anything about the frame yourself unless you're a pro at it. so just go ahead and take it to a shop that does frame bending and see what they say. you might be able to have it fixed reasonably or maybe it's fine already. even so, knowing that it was ever bent, i'd be ready to drop a couple k on adjustable suspension components to get alignment back perfect.
