fuel injectors
#2
Did you do any research at all before starting this thread?
Your 92 has pintle injectors, you cannot install the 94+ (or maybe 93+... either way, they're differentiated in the buying options) injectors without either 300Degree fuel rails meant to fit 6 new style injectors, or the updated fuel rails and a machined lower plenum. You'd also need the newer connectors. (And you absolutely couldn't just replace a few bad injectors with the pintle-less... you'd have to do the full retrofit.)
And yes, TT and NA matters. TT injectors are 370cc/min, NA are 259 or 279 cc/min. If you install TT injectors in an NA, car you'll run rich and likely run like ****; NA injectors in a TT car will run lean and likely detonate.
Seriously... all this has been discussed at length on here and TwinTurbo.NET.

yeah bro, come on now.
when it comes to the lower intake. i know it needs to be machined for the newer style injectors, but my question is, can the lower intake from say a 93+ (late model 93s use the newer style) be used in an earlier model to make everything fit right? I know the timing belt pulley is on the end of the lower intake but maybe that doesnt matter?
I havent searched this, ill admit. But im going to eventually do the injectors on my motor and if i can just swap intakes id rather do that.
thanks

You can certainly just get the newer lower plenum and it'll bolt in just fine... most people just find machining more convenient (I think there's a template floating around the internet somewhere or at least details that you can give to a machine shop to have it cut properly).
