I had almost that exact problem! Except all my lights minus interior and turning signals turned off.
It's stupid, but I actually wiggled the fuse and the lights went back on.
I really need to take a better look at it though... 'cause last time it happened was around 10 @ night on a non-lighted highway

thanks guys, but i checked the fuses and all the commections and they are all on and strong....it's confusing me cause the only lights that work are the foglights, brake light, and interior lights (not the gauge panel), but i'm going to keep looking....thanks for the help

Simple way to diagnose electrical probs... use a multimeter (or voltmeter) and start tracing back the wiring to find where there is (or isn't) power.

Check the blue fusible link near the battery.
it would be the first one in the row.
take it out and use a temporary jumper.
you usually can't tell that it's blown just by looking at it.

...And the story is that I hadn't seen him(uncle) in like 5 years. And when I went down with my friend to this car car show in Anderson, I saw him.
I was like,"Hey, i haven't seen you since I was 14..."
And then he's all, "Remeber that pile of crap sitting my backyard?"
Then I said "yees?"
And he pointed at the chevelle. I couldn't believe it. It WAS SOOOOO TIGHT!
I couldn't believe it!
The car was so crappy before, rusted and on cinders. Apparently he invested in XBOX or something and got bank.

So yeah it was wierd to say the least. But he had to run so i didn't really get to catch up.
But yea, his friend had one almost just like it but with with a metallic paint.

He had a Dart and a challenger in his "hayday", he used to race all the time, and he was the one that got me into cars

lol sorry guys i was in a rush that day, but ya i finally did get them fixed but i need to rewire my front end, the previous owner tried a DIY thing with the lights which put too much power throught the wires and melted them together....but it will only be 100$ to rewire them plus i'm going to put new performance grounding wires in also.....
