I don't feel so bad now with all my scared knuckes, fingernails broken till they bleed, dents in the walls from throwing tools, only to be so pissed I was ready to burn the car, go in the house, come out 5 minutes later only to have what was pissing me off so bad fall in place. Damn it's fun, I love it. Just make sure there's a socket set in my coffen when I die. Might need them on the other side.

Bardabeeeee, yahoo maps shows the following, "Distance: 554.9 miles Approximate Travel Time: 8 hours 32 mins" and if you drift your way there it'll take a little longer. But then again, maybe 91 needs help with that garbage disposal this weekend.

Nope, haven't moved. Maybe you have CC and I confused. He had offered to help you with your t-belt when he was chanigin his. How far is it from Acton to Riverside?
Fixed the broken pipe. The disposal is in and fundtional. 1st try on both!!!!! Woohoo!!! Digging a trench sucks.
Didn't get to the Z yesterday, bt I'm off to Kragen in a few minutes to get the hose and clamps I need for the coolant bypass hose bypass.

Ow, my hands hurt.
It took Dad and I about 2 hours just to get the EGR valve mounted onto the back of the intake manifold. The 2 bolts that hold the EGR valve on are completely unnecessary. If someone wanted to, they could just bolt a rubber plate to the back of the manifold to keep the EGR valve from vibrating against the manifold. The EGR is held in place in 6 locations (1 - feedpipe from exhaust, 2 & 3 - EGR tube brackets at rear of engine between intake and exhaust cam covers, 4 & 5 - EGR return lines bolted to underside of upper plenum and 6 - bolted to back of intake manifold). See my point. Oh well, at least it's in. Back to work.

If I didn't live in Cali, I would've. I re-connected the heater hoses and got the coolant bypass completed today. I was going to get my intercooler piping installed, but I need to replace the 3" rubber coupler at the turbo outlet, so I have to order it. Maybe next weekend.

The coolant bypass was easy. The plenum removal was the b*tch. I would estimate that the bypass removal eliminates 8 of the bypass hoses that run under the plenum. It's a much cleaner setup. I'm sure that the coolant will circulate with less restriction now.

Yes, I'm keeping them black. I figure if I painted them they'd look like crap in a couple years and I'll have to redo it. I may paint them at my next 60k service. That way I'll have the back plate off as well and I can paint that also.
