My try at KenZ's n/a mod

I decided to go ahead and try Kenz's n/a mod after i ordered the K&N air filter and the place i ordered it from sent me the whole K&N kit witch included the aluninum pipes and vaccume tubes. + my head lights have been broken ever since i got the car and i need to fix them and to do that i had to take the front bumber off. Ill post some pics of the n/a mod.

Ok I got it all finished today and got to drive it around abit. I noticed a HUGE diff in the throttle responce....but i did also change alot of vaccume lines and install the K&N cone filter along with the mod. The exhaust sounds alot smother and a noticable bit deeper. Im really happy at how it turned out. Much thanks goes out to KENZ for sharing this mod.

unrelated question, but where is everyone getting the zdriver decals for their windows? I'd like to get one.

I did the NA mod.
i couldn't get the extra top pipes out but i got the lower stuff easy. So i say meh.
The original caps i bought didn't work for shiznit so i had to go back to home depot and found some really nice 1 1/2 in rubber caps with clamps for $6/pair. Worked like a charm.
Throttle response is noticeably different. Car really wants to go now. Strange how this little mod makes such a difference.

Are you saying that you had a cold air intake system already installed, and after Ken's mod, you noticed a difference? If so, why is that? Any ideas?

I have the K&N filtercharger kit on my car, which i seriously need to clean soon.
Less turbulence maybe? More direct airflow? I'm at a loss to explain it really.
It Could be a combination of things too, i just recently changed Plugs, just recently changed the oil, new tires, i also haven't driven the car in a while so my before and after might be confused. But it felt better to me and that's all i care about.

Kevin,....your signature cracks me up. I don't think you meant to write what you actually wrote, but it's damn funny.

"If you're being pasted on the right, then in your the wrong lane." Classic.

That's right, if you are being passed by another car that is in the right lane, then that means that you're hoarding the left (passing lane)! You're moving too slow for the left lane. Get in the right lane where you belong! I am only asking for some common courtesy - that's it!
