need advice for Labree exhaust
I need a little help here. Recently I decided to take the plunge purchase the Labree cat backs (w/resonated h-pipes and "back halves", 2.5", aluminized, 2 tips each muffler). I wanted the improved performance for the ZNationals track day in September, and a moderately louder exhaust note.
When they arrived, the h-pipes were incorrect - no surprises here, as mine is a '96 2+2, and they shipped the 90-95 2+2 version. Sigh. I went ahead and bolted the "back halves" to the stock mid-pipes to have some fun. Performance was NOTICEABLY improved, with power deliver much stronger and smoother over the entire range. At speed they sound wonderful!
Unfortunately, they're simply too loud for in the lower RPM ranges that I typically drive. Since they are non-returnable, I'm in a quandry. What to do? Here's what I see as options:
Option A: Find a way to make them quieter, and get the h-pipe fixed for my '96 (vendor will correct the problem with the h-pipe).
Option B: Sell them at a loss and just reinstall the stock ones. Expensive lesson, indeed. If I go this route, I won't get the h-pipes repaired, since most Z32's are not 96's.
Basically I'm stuck with a brand new set of cat backs, and don't know what to do with them. What would you do?

Never heard of any differences either.
I think the Labree set up has a really really nice sound to it. Much better then stock, it is louder, but like zlover said, its a sports car bro. I dont think it was much quieter with the stock set up on.
