I going to start a 1995. Vg30dett project soon and I have this idea that's. Bothering me to do.I'm going to make a cutom intake manifold and and a eleltric compressor with abt 100psi to start and 200psi gus.The compressor. Draws 95 amps.the tank weighs 6 pounds. Any ideas ?.what would be the draw back if any? I plan of going with an 160amp msd alternator or higher. Also twin tring too go with twin GT3582rs.what do you think? Of

100-200psi??? What is your intended use an air horn? Surely you don't plan of feeding that into your engine.

 

I was just stating the capabilities of the compressor.I just thought it would be a betterthen just the 2 pipes and filter.I'm not a mechanic but it just sounds more effective. I don't know the constant draw of air at idle or full throttle. I guessing 50 psi at full throttle.

 

Guessing eh? I think that's how those silly Nissan engineers built the stock intake manifold... they just guessed. Let's just put this here, throw that there, crank the boost to 509823509872340795023psi, and call it a day.
