Good question.
GREAT question. Let me lay this out for you.
To properly legalize a vehicle takes many major factors
These are as follows:
1. Double up catalytic converters*
2. Glass must be changed to US DOT specs
3. Engine modifications must be done: (TOO many to list!)
4. Bumper pad must be added
5. All panels must be reinforced or replaced
6. Una-body section of vehicle must be reinforced to meet crash test standards.
7. Headlights must be changed, otherwise they point directly into the eyes of the other drivers (NOTE: Japan drives on opposite side of the road)
The list goes on and on! mostly just EPA and DOT silly ****. But take a look at them, peace
(and your photo shop needs some work... haha peace)

At least for the mechanical parts like exhaust and engine work.. since over there they run on higher octane and such..
But.. body construction?.. changing panels and reinforcing?.. How come? as fas as I know they do similar crash testing to approve vehicles for road use..
And I took a look at them..well at least the descriptions and sound pretty nice.. not long ago I was looking at a few JDM exporters and the prices are not that bad.. but when you calculate the cost of having them approved for road use.. then is when you kinda pullback and say forget it.. cause even the shipping isn't that high..
an btw.. that photoshop thingy I did in like five min.. I know it's not a masterpiece..

Haha, yea its all good, im basically a master at photoshop, so I'm miticulous (spelling?) of others work, sorry. Well shipping is included in the price, if I had the money, I would buy at least one of those cars! Whats good about Skylines and other JDM vehicles is that it is an INVESTMENT, you can buy the car for a reasonable price, drive it for a while, and when you are ready to let her go(which may be never! haha), sell it for TWICE or even TRIPLE the price! So if you have the money, I would suggest buying one! Peace
