New z engine?

Has anyone tried to put a 350Z engine in a Z32 body?

because everyone wants a bigger engine, reguardless of the fact it has significantly less power potential and factory output than the old, outdated VG30DETT.... [/sarcasm]

The older engine is 280+ n/a horsepower. Pretty close to a stock TT. Significantly lighter. It would be a nice choice. Then if you want better power, rebuild with 9:1 pistons and go TT.

Question, is it impossible to take a N/a engine and go TT without a new engine?

you won't be able to boost as much, but the higher compression will yeild a zippy car once boosted. Don't expect tons of power, but it should be a fun car. It's also just about as much work as gonig with a TT swap if not more. IT will be cheaper however.
