yes.
turn the **** on the ecu cw wait 5 seconds then turn it ccw, watch the blinking light.

Since the 90-95 Z32's are OBD1 ECU's, the method described above is how you're going to get your trouble codes. Unless you own an old Nissan Consult, this is pretty much the way it's done.
