no throttle response

no throttle response

Iam almost done my n/a to tt swap and started it up for the first time and it idles fine but when i hit the gas absolutly nothing happens. does not stall out or anything. any ideas

well i was hoping to get some ideas on how to fix this problem i guess there arent ank knowlegable 300z drivers on this site

if absolutely nothing happens i'm going to have to go with a problem with the throttle cable. what if you move the throttle body by hand?

Hum... a good attitude like that will sure get you the help you need...

check out www.twinturbo.net You might fit in better there.

Maybe you could also start with mechanic basics. Like... check the ECU codes, check the sensors, check the spark plugs, check the compression, etc.

lol get mad because nobody has responded. that really made me laugh out loud.

the proper response would be "bump". to put the thread back to the top so people would see it.

A basic ideal would be if the throttle cable is working that he has the throttle cable on the Cruise control part (left side) not the throttle control itself on the right facing the engine.
Second, if it's not that,, your throttle bodies could be stuck.
But, most of all there is VERY little information given to help solve the problem

anyway, you've just gone through and answered a bunch of threads from months ago, who's writters have moved on and don't check frequently any more. you might want to check the dates on the threads you're responding to
