This may be a stupid sounding question, but without books I have no idea and cannot find on the net. Does anyone know how many quarts of oil a 1990 300zx takes? I am about to change the oil to put in Castrol Syntec with new filter.

I know mine takes a little over 3 1/2 qts. I have a '91 NA. For some reason I was thinking that the '90 was a little more. I'd say go with 3 1/2 and add more if you need to. Easier to add than remove. I heard that one year said it took 5 qts or something but that it was a misprint.
