I dont know...i havent been to the states for a couple years. BUT R33 brake pads are the exact same as Z brake pads. the difference between the R33 calipers and Z calipers is the R33 calipers mount further out to accomodate bigger rotors.

i seriously dont understand the infatuation with RHD. there is a reason that our steering wheels are on the left. it makes the most sense considering how our roads are set up. at the very least, RHD makes it extremely difficult to pass someone. i doubt that in japan they have a similar fixation on LHD. it seems to be a trend brought on by the media, and nothing more, ie "hey, this movie/magazine/whatever says RHD is cool, it must be cool". sorry for the hijack, but really, it needed to be said.

barring mail delivery vehicles, none, because this is america and we drive on the right side of the road, and so it makes sense. i see a RHD car and i dont think "gee thats cool", i think "what a pain in the *** that must be to drive". if i lived in a country where they drove on the left, then i would think that a RHD car would be the way to go. sorry bardabe, but in my mind, doing a LHD to RHD conversion is the ultimate rice.

I have driven both and my personal preference is RHD. Shifting and clutching is done with the same side of the body. IMO that makes it easier and just more natural.

Hey Bardabe how are you going about the swap?

uhm I'm still waiting on my clip. there is some good news and bad news.

Good news Myu clip comes tuned. it;s a USDM 95 Front clip Stage IV Ashspec ECU.
Tuned for , Intake, Downpipes, test pipes, Exhaust, Boost controler,

the downside is that it dosent have any bodypanels. but that's ok I made a couple hudred calls and got all bodypanels exept my front bumper (Hood, fenders, headlights and center piece.) flawwless but all diferent colors for 200$ he he

as far as paint and body goes. well I gotta keep saving my paychecks so I can go get my front end replaced. along with my firewall. (RHD ) so I;d say I'm maby 1500 - 2000 away from a running car.

and Yes I desided to go with Gold.
I'm getting my Z sprayed over at M1 Body in Montebello Top Secret gold with Gold flakes.

I will strip teh car myself so it will be gutted to teh max. and the engine bay will be sprayed as well.

nice progress dude. i really dont dig the red center counsel, but im digging the engine.

p.s. i agree with entropy31 about the rhd hype. hell, even if i owned a skyline and there was a conversion to do it lhd, id do it just because its the way we drive here.

The only way it'd be more natural IMO is if you were left handed.
