possible motor?

ok i found a stock tt short block for 50 bucks with "50-75" thou on it. guy needed the heads and doesnt want the rest think that is a good deal?

also i found for 75 bucks a complete tt motor with everything except wiring harness and maf for 75 bucks only catch is its in pieces "taken apart" not blown apart. comes with turbos!! need rebuilt though "think the housings alone are worth that"

i was thinking of using the 50 dollar short block and the rest of the parts from the 75 dollar motor. of course i will inspect everything and use new gaskets

what you guys think?

well it would be nice. you really need to look at them well first though. i mean, oil pans off and stuff. the bottom line is, you know nothing about those engines. if you are going to run a tt upgraded at all, you'll want to rebuild them. so with a rebuild in mind, it's hard to go wrong.

Your money, do what you want. If you ever acquire a block that you don't need, hit me up... I've been wanting one for a table.

thing about just getting a short block though if you ever wanted to do anything with it other than display or whatever you woul be putting alot of money back into it, then theres the swap, and yeah, might be good or decent for parting or making a table out of like suggested. also, i know you've said it before that you don't drink randy but damn you look like a beer guy haha.

no, just something about you haha. not beer belly, people with those i classify differently. but, you just look like the typical guy in his 20's i would expect to look like chilling at a bar with a bottle in his hand watching some MMA or UFC fights haha. don't ask why.....

lol you've got me WAY wrong... I don't even watch fighting because I think it's primitive and the fighters are douchebags who are capable of coexistence (they remind me of old friends of mine who would see another guy at the mall and be like "that guys a ***, I could kick his ***"). Brock Lesnar is a damn beast, though. When I go to the bar, it's because I have friends there... and we usually talk about math and physics and why one could not change one's own history if one could travel through time.

awwww sick! physics talk doesnt belong at bars lol. not until your long drunk anyways, then physics and politics are very popular random crap spewing topic, and theirs the people that talk their *** off and dont know **** about it, or the people that do know **** about it correct them, and the people that sorta know stuff but just stay quiet and laugh on the inside at the drunk talk at the table.

It's accepted in Physics that time is linear, but that's not to say that time travel is impossible. Most Theoretical Physicists (and myself) simply believe that if you were to go back in time and change something, it would cause a new branch of reality to begin. Thus, it wouldn't change anything in the reality you came from, but another reality would feel the affect of changes made. It's the only rational solution to "if you went back in time and told yourself to never time travel, would you remember the encounter or would you eventually time travel because you would have never gone back to tell yourself that?" And that's how that conversation began. lol We also discuss the double slit test (look it up - there's a good cartoon on YouTube that explains it) and other and Quantum Physics theories. And m theory vs string theory.

WOW this thread is off topic.

Dr. Quantum? That's one of the best descriptions of the double slit I've seen.
