problem after new eprom chip

A couple days ago I had a socket soldered into my ecu and installed a chip that I had bought from a member on another forum. The issue I am having is the car will run for approx. 30 seconds, no codes, nothing, and then it will just shut off as if someone turned the key off. While running it does not have a check engine light, but once i check the codes after it dies it gives me a code 11 for the cas. Which I'm pretty certain there is nothing wrong with the cas considering it ran perfectly fine before the new eprom. I'm just assuming that the chip I bought has some sort of issue with it. I've already bought a new chip from z1 and its on its way, but I just wanted to see what everyones opinion was and what they think it might be.

Maybe you should be asking the guy you bought it from. Kind of sounds like a programming issue to me if that's possible, considering you say the car ran fine before the chip swap.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. There is something messed up with the tune on the chip. It was actually a copy of a tune that he had. I believe it was the emance chip he had copied which I think are the ebay chips, so thats probably my problem to begin with. I'll see if I can get into contact with the guy and see whats up.
