pulleys. good or bad?
i was thinking about getting an underdrive pulley kit for my car, but then i heard that it eliminates your harmonic balancer and i know that is bad because my friend has a mustang and his harmonic balancer came off one day and his car was shaking like all hell, and we had to call a tow truck, but ive heard they are one of the most noticable upgrades you can buy for the n/a. so what do you guys think is it worth it to get them or should i just try to get the power from somewhere else?

Well first of all Z do not have a harmonic balancer like v8's. Crank pulley and crank are balanced. This has been debated alot and you can go to Unorthodox's website and read some articles on it. I haven't ever had any problems with the one on my 240sx. My friend has one on his NA and it works great for him.

I've read that the Z's isn't a harmonic balancer, just a vibration dampener for comfort. Don't know if it's true but the way I figure, there are alot of Z'ers that have them with no complaints and a lot of people who claim they are bad for the Z. I still haven't heard anyone blame engine failure on one.
