i'm going to buy Unorthodox Under Drive Pulley, but I still dont know where should I order from.. between specialtyz and conceptzperformance the prices r alot different.. how about the performance.. do they really alot different too? which one will you guys suggest me to buy?

 

Personally..i bought mine from NOPI's website. I dont know much about the other two sites. As for performance, I noticed a bit more performance on my N/A (even though the dyno says differently). One thing to be careful of though it if u out that pulley on with a major sound system runnin. You do this, u and I ll will have alot in common. The underdrive pulley plus my sound system is causing me to go through alternators like crazy. You'll notice a bigger power gain on a TT, than on a N/A. You ll also feel the vibration from the engine a bit more, since you are eliminating the balencer from the stock pulley. Other than the alternator, i really have to compaints about the pulley. I say go for it!
Another thing, you'll not find any major power upgrades cheap. All the little mods do add up. A few hp here and few there will eventually build up to a 500+ monster. There are alot of ifs when modifiyin a car. U just need to weigh your options and make the best decision. Like, can you afford a high performance alternator if yours ends up crappin out.

 

performance is the same, unless the pulley is just lightweight. but i havent seen any that are just lightweight for this car.
if you want the whole kit, ultimatez has the best price $370 for the kit and belts.
i never had any problems with the alternator on my last car tho

 

How about a 700+HP N/A Z32 monster? These guys also have a TT Zed32 that runs in the 7's. I know as I've personally seen the turbo car and run him.
As for the underdrive pulley, they all work great and do the same thing, reduce rotation weight and use less power to drive the accessory's.

Z ringo you keep referencing Escorts drag cars on here or 3ZC but have never stated your affiliation with Escort! How do you know these guys? Mitch, owner from AMZ, works closely with escort and goes out there every month or so and has never heard of you! You buddies with one of the Escort guys or something?

As far as where to buy product, you CAN'T beat www.amzperformance.com prices and customer service! They make a great UD pulley which can had for a bit less than the unorthodox! Like Zringo said some people buy one from ebay for 50-60 bucks and it works out, but do you want to trust e-bay stuff with such an important part?? Its up to you...

 

Well if Mitch is the owner of AMZ I surely hope he works closely with AMZ, and guess what? I've never heard of Mitch, but AMZ, yes, and only good.
As for the product I buy on eBay, who's product is it? I buy Hurst, Zex, Wisco, GMS and other name brand parts on eBay, so what your saying is I shouldn't trust eBay stuff with such important parts? Your right, it is up to me.

Considering that 1. That car only has 300rwhp all motor...and sprays a rediculous amount of N2O to get it into the 10s. Its nothing impressive. I could see if he was running 10s with all motor work but with N2O anythings possible. So to show that to the NA guys...sorry but that doesn't give them much hope. The amount money that went into that car is twice as much as it would for a monster build on a TT. NA guys have all the potential in the world but you make it sound like the VG30DE can be a complete monster. It won't be.

Hey....... I was at LACR on that date too. I was smokin' a number of kids who had faster equipment than me. I was faster outta the hole and first across the finish line,,,,,,,,, I was able to run non-stop for 20 minutes or so, till my arms pumped up so bad that I couldn't hang on any more. Ooooops, oh yeah, I was over on the moto-x tracks..... seriously now.

 

Wish I could say the same, not only did I red lite and get the jump, I got smoked bad, like real bad.
