Question on upcoming storage of Z?

OK, here is the scenerio! I put my Z up last winter with a blown power steering pump. I did not have a chance to fix her this summer, so I am looking at storing her one more winter before I put her on the road again!
Here is my question. I still have a 1/2 tank of gas in my car from last October. Do I deplete it and put in some fresh gas, or will this gas be OK. I have been starting the car and keeping it clean all season this year. I am new at this whole thing! Thanks for the input.

I'd drain some of the gas out of the tank (there might be a plug on the bottom to drain it). If the fuel looks ok and smells ok, I'd imagine you could drive it. My Datsun sat outside for almost a year before I swapped engines and drove it again, and it had half a tank in her before she was parked for the year. I drove on that tank of gas, then filled up with a little higher octane, plus some carburetor cleaner in case the lines might have gotten clogged.

If you have been starting the car and it has been running, you might be in good shape. Most people who store a car just let it sit, which in return causes seals to dry out and crack, hoses to rot, and everything to go bad. Just start it up and let it idle for a little while once a month or so, and you should be good to go.
