I just took my wifes 1990 300zx to get some tires put on it ,we noticed some clear fuild coming from under the car ,it smelled like power steering fuild.The guy said my Rack might need to be replaced .Where can I get one where cheap.And Do I need the steering gear & linkage rack? Bottom line what do I need to order and where can I get a used Rack for the front of this car? Please help\

 

the ONLY and i will repeat...the ONLY "clear fluid" in the Z comes from the tension rods. no clear fluid on the rack. so the guys does not know what he is talking about obviously or trying to scam you. either way dont do it.
so again, if its clear fluid, it IS ONLY the tension rod, cant be anything else.
