You can, but in the end I would suggest starting with the VG30DETT block simply cause it has the oil squirter paths which inmprove lubrication and reliability by shooting oil under the pistons to help lubricate and keep them coil.

Also I've been reading a lot about cryogenic block treatment, once I start my buildup I'll be doing that as well.

On a side note what are you rebuilding the VG30DE for? Power? If you are trying to build it up then I would highly suggest going the VG30DETT, look at the recent theads of people wanting to try all kinds of different combinations. In the end the VG30DETT combo is going to make more power, cost less, and more reliable than any combination you can find for the 300ZX.

so reality says keep it NA or change the block. I really love the sound of a turbo discharging.

you'll be fine just go with the turbos. We've done that before and nothing bad has happened. get the AMZ TT rebuild kit and see if you cna get a hold of a TT Crank (TT crank is forged unlike the N/A crank that is cast) Z1 might have spare cranks. but yeah rebuild it to be a TT. and get an RB25 Clutch so you don't have to look for a TT tranny clutch and flywheel.

probably the easiest way to do the TT swap is to buy a TT front clip, so you get everything in the engine bay, plus tranny and such. but an engine rebuild is highly suggested if you take that route too

I already have a fidanza lightweigt flywill stage 2 ACT clutch and preassuare plate, so my next step was boreing (Ican't spell) the enging to 3.5 Low compresion pistons, ECU,fuel injectors, fuel pump, and just drop to turbos with intercooler. Ihave the down pipes from e-bay. I am just trying to get 450-500 hp just in case saturday night I found some stuppid dud with a 2005 corvette or something like that. I really hate american V8's

Fact, The posts are around here discussing the Jun 3.2 stroker kit for $10k and another american company that will provide a complete stroker rotating assembly, to your specs for $5k.
. i really wouldnt reccomend boring over 3.2 tho

2. you will need to rebuild your heads with the TT exhaust valves.

3. you will need either a TT stock or aftermarket radiator

4. i think you need an oil cooler(def reccomend it if nothing else)

5. you will either need to do some work to your oil pan for the turbo oil lines, or get a TT oil pan

3. look to be spending at least 5 grand in mods to get to your hp mark
