reset ecu for popcharger??
hey i guys i just installed a jwt popcharger. it took me forever to get to those 2 lil screws that r under the rails to which the fascia is bolted. anyways, i was just wondering whether i need to reset my ecu for it to function optimally. thanks in advance for ur advice.

I would suggest resetting the ecu. I just disconnected the battery while I put the filter in, which reset it. Just disconnect it for maybe 10 mins. The reason for resetting the ecu is because the new filter will have different airflow volume / characteristics. By resetting the ecu it will adjust to the new airflow. When you start it back up, make sure and let it idle for at least a minute.

My bad. I referred to a popcharger installation writeup on TT.net and it didn't mention having to reset the ECU. My car was already equiped with it so I have never performed the mod myself.
