Rizz! Need your help bro
I can't get my pwr driver seat to go backwards...only forwards. A few of the other options work, but I can't sit in the car atm lol.
Is there a way to try hotwiring it? and if so, then how....and if not, then is there a way to manually move it back?
Thanks

Did you check the seat track? Sometimes stuff falls outta our pockets like gum wrappers or coins, hard candy, condoms....whatever. Then they fall onto the track and jam up the system. Double check it. Look at all electrical connections also.
If all that fails then you have a faulty motor. It will then need to be repaired or replaced.

I've heard stories of this happening to people. People have fixed the problem doing these certain things. First, Taking out the seat, cleaning the railings and near items really well (on both the seat and chassis). Spray WD40 all over the bottom side of the seat...the railing. Clean the switches out. This is probably your problem. Do you hear the motor working? I dont think your motor is burnt out since your seat can move in other directions...there are two motors. There are two sets of wires as well..one for each motor...check those...make sure none are damaged. If so, you know what to do. Check the connections as well. If none of that works, then it's most likely your switch. Take apart your switch, and clean it with contact cleaner. If that still doesn't work, then you might have to get a new switch, see if there's a parts car you can get it off of. If not, then check a few distributors (i.e., courtesy Nissan, ConceptZ performance..etc). Hope that helps.

well I tried hotwiring the switch with direct power, and that didn't help. tracs are clear.
I'm going to have to pull it out and try and find a manual way to move it back, so I can get in the car...to go get parts

Then it's most likely the switch or a wire or connector or something. Did you try taking the switch box apart and cleaning everything real well? Or how about taking the seat out and checknig the wires? WD40? Try all that and get back with any questions.
