Screeching sound

i got a '90 z32 with about 160000 mi. on it. Its recentley been making a screeching sound that sounds like a belt. it doesnt do it every time i start the car and it only happens when it is cold outside. it starts screeching when i start it up, and gets louder the higher the rpms get, up until 3500-4000, then it goes away. It used to only do it when i started it up, but now it keeps on doing it while i am driving. Every once in a while when i pull up to a stop sign or red light and the rpms drop, it starts screeching. I'll give it a rev and it goes away. Its a very loud, abnoxious sound and if anybody can help me out with this let me know - thanx

Slipping belt, yeah. They need to be tightened a little. Make sure there are no fluids leaking onto them. ie: oil, coolant or p/s fluid.
