service needed?
I've got 112k on my Z. What maintenance should be done on it? I'm not sure what if anything has already been done by the previous owner. I bought it a few months ago with 111k on it. Timing belt, clutch, anything?

Lots of fun for you on the horizon.
The clutch is an as needed kinda thing. It depends on how hard you are on it. If it's slipping, then you need a new one. If the clutch pedal pressure is hard, then the clutch has limited life left.

i just had to spend some cash on timing belt junk already jus a day or so ago. the timing belt blew in my escort in the middle of an intersection the other day and me and my brother were like "damn" and this cop rolls up to his window and is like "what are you guys doin?" hanging out in the intersection of course. but anyhow, yeah, the belt went up, something else that has to do with the belt, and my water pump all went out in one instant. round 600 buck to fix the damn thing.

maintenance
timing belt for sure, with a good name brand belt like gates or a factory nissan belt. stay away from perelli or kelly belts a upper line dayco belt is good. while you're in there replace the thermistat and front water hoses again with good ones and remember to replace the clamps.

Yea, 2nd on the clamps. Man, wouldn't that suck. The only thing to forget that would be worse than those clamps would be to forget to remove the little screw from the tensioner. Talk about a waste of time.
