i want to put 6.5'' speakers in my doors and possibly the rear unless i can get bigger ones for the rear. does anyone know of somewhere that makes speaker brackets to do this?

 

You can order them from nissan. The speaker brakets for the NON bose systems are 6.5

also, if you have the Blose, err...Bose enclosures, you can just take a dremel and cut the top of it to accomodate a 6.5" speaker. Others have taken the top of the enclosure, traced it onto MDF and made a top for it that way. That way you will have a small sealed enclosure in the door if that is your sound preference. Some 6.5" speakers will fit this way, some will not. All depends on the mounting depth and how thick the speaker is on the surface (could bump into the door panel). But the brackets from Nissan are not cheap. 70, 80 bucks if I remember right (but dont take my word for it, my memory sucks). If you have a dremel and the Bose enclosures, you can give that a shot for free.
