specialty z exhaust systems
this post is for anyone who has bought a specialty z cat back exhaust for their z32 in the past, or if they plan to pretty soon. i was wondering how much you paid, what options you had installed, and of course, how does it sound. I'm kinda fearful of getting the magnaflow mufflers because they seem like they resemble something of a coffee can sound, maybe I'm wrong (if anyone has any experience with magnaflow mufflers, let me know how they are) thanks in advance
here's the website for specialtyz cat backs if you wanna take a look...

Is the only reason you're considering the Magnaflow's is because they advertise the low sound level?
The Magnaflow's sound is similar to the Stillens' only much more subdued. If the 'coffee-can sound' is the reverberating sound that Stillen exhausts make then yeah that's it.
The Sebring units are the ones that I'm considering. Check out these pics.

what I said was that I was fearful of getting the magnaflows...I don't think having that ricer sound on a z is very tasteful ...yea, the sebring mufflers are lookin awesome, before those pics on 3zclub, I was considering the dual tip sebrings that were pictured on specialtyz's website, but the mufflers shown on the other forum might be more to my liking...I can't wait til that guy gets em on his car and lets everyone at that soundclip...!

You might wanna look again...
Those are the Sebring mufflers from Specialty Z. That set is just in all polished stainless steel. Very nice and proper, time to save up or hope Santa's feeling generous this year.
