Speed limiter?

Speed limiter?
Dear guys/ladies,
I own an 1992 USA 300ZX Z32, automatic non turbo. Here in Holland I discovered it hit only 210kmh. That is about 130mph. But according to the specifications it should run 235kmh. Now DTA MOTORSPORTS specialist in ZX and SUPRA has removed the speedlimiter. Changed the ECU, But it still runs only 130mph. Driving it you hit the gas and then it runs to that speed and then it hold back. What could be the problem?
Does someone else had the same problem? I hope you can help me.
Kind regards,
Rob van der Zwaan

Uh, it's a non-turbo. It probably doesn't have enough power to go faster.
And for the record, the governor kicks in at 155mph... so the governor was never your problem.

The ability of a car to continue accelerating at such speeds is dependent largely on power... and if his NA isn't healthy, it won't have the power to continue accelerating.
Yeah, your car and Eric's car might be able to do it, but I also once knew a guy with a non-turbo who ran 16.1 in the quarter mile...
