Does anyone out there know what would cause the tach to stick and possibly how to fix it? I have a TT and the tach is stuck at 2000rpm.

 

all i can say is pull out the gauges and check to see if its loose from the post that it sits on or maybe check the wire connections in the back of them... its pretty easy to get to if you need any help just let me know i have a service manual at home that i can check on...so ill check when i get off of work so ill get back to you at round 5 or 5:30 well good luck and let me know if you find it before then

Hi Mike, you replied to my post on a stuck tach on my 92 TT you said you would try checking your repair manual on how it could be repaired I was wondering if you had a chance to check for me? I am planning to try to fix it this weekend and would lie to get feedback on how to repair it if possible. Thanks.
