subframe connectors.....so clueless....

That's kinda like asking if you need gas in the car to roll up the windows. The subframe floats separate from the frame of the car. It does not tie or connect to the t-tops in any way. They don't have anything to do with each other. If you didn't have subframe connectors on the Z32, then the car basically wouldn't have any rear suspension. The subframe connects all of that to the rest of the car. All Z32's require subframe connectors. You can change the subframe bushings, or install subframe spacers to improve the handling characteristics of the car. Does that clarify it at all?
