Re: swap info?
your better off to buy a cheap TT and fix it up. factory turbos are 4k installed, and the motor is what...6k or so new. Dunno, id buy a cheap turbo and throw a little money at it. Ive read some things on TwinTurbo.net about the swap and it doesn't sound rational. Just my input, both Z's are fast and sleek in my opinion. Get a loan for a little more and go deal hunting on a TT

Re: swap info?
Hey thanks for you guys input. I was just wondering cause well this guy is selling it so cheap for about (4g) for 1990 non turbo black with greddy exhaust. I love how the car looks no rust or anything. I figure buy it and get swap but the looks of it, its too much money and work so what about just fresh non turbo motor? How much do you guys think it will cost? The reason why im so concerend with the swap is cause he has 90k miles on it.
Thanks again

Re: swap info?
People run both motors up into the high 100k mile range, so you should be too concerned about an engine swap. Just be ready for things like timing belt, water pump, radiator hoses, serpentine belt...etc. As long as you maintain the engine (synthetic motor oil, high octane gas, and routine maintnance) you will be able to drive it on the stock motor till the cows come home.
Hope it helps,

Re: swap info?
to start off i have a 90 n/a and i called key the other day to see the price on a new engine and they wanted 7000 for a new engine just the engine no turbos or nothing so your best bet is to buy a TT and fix it up like everyone else says
the actualy price was 7,483
90 3zx2 n/a 2+2
shes a work in progress!
