Tps??

So I did a little search and couldnt really find anything related to my issue.

When the car revs while driving, sometimes itll drop like 500 RPM and then catch up with itself.

I know this broad, and her piece of **** honda is doing the same thing, but really violently, we changed the tps and its ok now.

Im assuming its the same thing, but who knows.

The codes dont tell me jack, 55.

It does it in all gears, I used to be able to chirp, but now once i drop into second or third when it hits the limiter, it has to catch itself back up.

Whats good?

You should check to make sure that it's still adjusted properly. It could've vibrated loose and that's why yo're having issues.

That's what I was thinking. If I recall correctly there's a way to make sure it's mounted properly by using a multimeter, but I can't remember it off the top of my head. Seek and ye shall find. (Probably "TPS adjustment" or something along those lines.)

Thanks guys.

I saw this video on youtube of a guy pulling his off, drilling out the rivets and make sure it was adjusted right. I dont know how valid the dude was but he seemed to know what he was doing.

If I remember correctly, the output at idle should be .05 volts and at WOT it should be .45 volts.
