The noise I'm referring to happens mostly at slow speeds while the clutch is engaged. It sounds like a scraping/clanking sound that has no specific rythm and does not speed up or slow down with engine speed and does not get louder or quieter with engine speed. It also does not happen all of the time, mainly after the car has set overnight and seems to go away after about 5 minutes of driving (if it happens at all). It does occur during acceleration but also while cruising. I had the clutch disk-pressure plate-TOB about one year ago and this noise has started within the last month or two. I do not believe that it is the TOB or anything to do with the driveshaft. I was just wondering what everybody else thinks, suggests, or recommends. Thanks

 

If it only happens with the clucth is engadged that makes me think it's something to do with the TOB etc.. can you give a better discription?
