TT Ac lines vs NA Ac lines

TT Ac lines vs NA Ac lines
ok, after having done research and talking to other people who have done TT swaps I have come up with conflicting facts.
The story...
While removing my TT motor for my swap I cut the 2 ac lines coming off the compressor.
Situation #1 - One person has told me that I must swap all TT lines into my NA, and I need to replace those 2 lines.
Situation #2 - One person has told me that as long as I'm doing R12 to R12 (which I am, 92 motor etc etc into a 91 slicktop, although i'd like to convert to r134) that everything should be the same EXCEPT for one of the hard lines around the condensor is bent differently to allow for the recirc valves and that is all that must be swapped (which i still have this one in fine condition) and that the compressor lines should be interchangeable.
can anyone shed some light onto this for me. As I gather the rest of the parts I need to finish my swap (2k on stock parts from nissan should be here tomorrow) these are the last thing I will need IF i need to find replacements.
