Re: TT running 11's?
Are the 555 injectors really worth it for the price? do they hurt fuel economy at all? and aren't sport 500 turbos new turbos..i already have two..i was talking about cheap...and intercoolers are a little much as well...What about the option of nitrous...any realistic replies for getting a 90 300zx TT into the 11's? thanks

Trust me...that's the formula for high 11's...you might be able to do it on stock turbos with an NA rear end since it's a 4.08 instead of the TT's 3.69. Stock turbos can only handle 400 rwhp max. Low 12's are the best you'll be able to do on stockers.

P.S. You need the intercoolers and injectors or you'll detonate all over the place. The stock injectors max out around 15.5 psi on pump gas. If you go to 100 octane, you can run 17-18 which is the max of stock turbos. But you should have intercoolers if you're going to do this with stock injectors. Also, you need all this stuff to run bigger turbos and to get into the 11's. There's no cheap formula!

Generally, if the car is in good shape, it should be pretty stable as long as you take care of it. If you don't go crazy with the boost all day everyday, it should hold up pretty well. In order to use the Nismo 555 injectors, you'll need to have your JWT ECU reprogrammed for $100. It won't hurt gas mileage too much and idle won't change much either.
