What is one of the best turbo`s that are cheap?

 

Turbos for the Z are not cheap remember you are buying 2 of them compared to buying 1 for other vehicles. the lowest you are going to get is 3-4000 for a kit.

 

JWT Sport 500's for 1800 or JWT Sport 600's for 2300...take your pick! :-)

 

Is that the kit price or just the turbo itself?

 

They bolt right up...it's everything needed to install, which isn't much.

I'm not sure how soon you are going to need turbos, but I have Turbonetics T28/T28 upgraded turbos on my '91 TT running 19.5 lbs of boost. I am considering replacing them with HKS ball bearing turbos and adding a JWT nitrous kit. If you're interested, PM me.

That's because those turbos suck...lol T28's in a stock housing is a huge no-no. T28's in a larger housing are very good, but you won't find many state-side.
