Hey yall as yall know i had a 1990 300zx n/a/ auto that i just sold now the person has brought it back to me to have me fix it.. ok ive done all the work myself and ive done it right by the book.. but hears a real brain teaser.. who ever hooked up the stereo before me left out a few wires.. hears how they hookedu p the sereo up..power wire " red " to small blue wire silver dots
"yellow" ingiton wire to yellow silver dots
"Balck " ground to black wire

Speaker wires black + red stripe
white + red stripe " front left speaker "

Speaker wires black+blue stripe
white+blue stripe " front right speaker "

speaker wires black +white tripe
white+green stripe " right rear speaker"

speaker wires black +silver dots
white_silver dots " left rear speaker"

NOW the wires that are left

unknown ? " orange + silver dots " ?
red+blue tripe with silver dots?
Maroon +yellow stripe with silver dots ?
" big blue wire " white stripe?


Now the problem is that when i install the fuse for the door licks 10amp the head lights come on and it seems like the car has a car alarm.. i took out the fuse and drove the car my self and it still does it... ? any ideas ? im thinking of who ever hooked up the stereo messed up the wiring.. ?

 

should have just gotten a wire harness for the radio...i dont know much about 300zx's...but installed plenty of radios in the past...and having a wire harness would have avod problems like this, rather than just splicing the wires

 

yes i know the people before me didint get wire harness
