Why does the Z God hate me?

everytime i fix one thing on my Z another thing has to go wrong........

i replaced the upper and lower radiator pipes like suggested in a previous post and i was running it then what do ya know another abnorms PSHHHHHHHHH sound......so i shut the car off pop the hood and wow ive never felt so much freon (sp?) in my life.......The hose that runs into the top of the air conditioner compressor split right down the middle.......

If its not one thing its the next.....ARG

It's not a Z thing........ it's an old car thing.

All of my cars get all new belts & hoses every four years whether they need it or not. I also do thermostats and radiator caps at that time too.

A/C hoses aren't so predictable but there was probably a visual sign that it was going to let go before it did.

oh man that sucks.
now you gotta convert to the r134 type.
r12 is so nice and cold , if not entirely ozone friendly.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH boy we messed up.......... We messed up bad Rizz lol.........as i stated before we switched over to R134 BUT we didnt realize that there was an incampatability issue with the O rings in the hoses...............OOOOOOOOPS gonna pay the price now......Now we gotta rip out all the hoses replace all the Orings if not all the hoses.........Rizz to do this conversion correctly does it require the Engine to be pulled? plz tell me it doesnt.......

Also anyone know where we can buy all the orings or is a automotive store gonna be the best chance....or are they specialty Orings

I saw a kit on ebay a coupla days ago for the conversion. Starting @ $19.95 It has two orifices and a bunch of o-rings.
