Zlover, your not hte I-80 sniper are you? lol.....jk....
To people I know, I'm a generally nice guy; to people I don't know and to people who are ignorant, it's an entirely different story. Since I somewhat know you, you can rest assured that if we were to meet, I wouldn't be an ******* (unless you did something really stupid).

I-80 sniper...? Is there such a person? I live less than 1 mile from the I-80/Harlem intersection...

I'm actually not passionate at all about my lawn... it's the principle of the thing. It's mine, and I don't like children or individuals who don't respect my property.

Well, 294 and 80 merge right before Indiana, so it's basically the same highway over there.

Magazines tested them at 13.9 @ 99 actually.... but there have been individuals on tt.net who pulled down 13.6 in the quarter entirely stock (a little experience goes a long way at the track).

However, a Z32TT at Stage III (intake, exhaust, ECU) will run mid to high 12s with a good driver.

I met a guy not long ago who was Stage V (or so... Stage III + light weight flywheel, 17psi [manual boost controller], full exhaust, and aftermarket intercoolers) who runs consistent 11.4s.

This is also ignoring the groups of Z32TT owners who pull down 10s on a stock long block (including 1 guy doing so on stock turbos), and a couple guys doing 9s with street-legal 300ZXs (full interiors, including subwoofers, roll cage, etc).

damn thats crazy. It takes alot more $$$ and parts to get a KA into the 12's. The only time I ran on the strip they weren't timing it... so I don't know what I ran. I ran 3 times and got around 108 mph best trap speeds. I know its not that accurate.. but I figure i was around high 13's low 14's. This was from a
t3 super 60 @ 12 psi of boost.

I didnt realize the stock TT's were that damn quick tho! makes me want to get one now.

I would say a 108 trap is probably mid to high 13s (14s would generally trap under 100mph unless you had a horrible launch).

yeah the launch wasn't very good at all. 17x8 fn's with 30 psi tire pressure in them and an open diff. I installed a vlsd after that and it really helps with launching.

What do the NA z32's run in the 1/4?

i was hitting 15.4 almost 15.3 stock. but then i later found out i had been losing compression in number 2 cylinder...so it coulda been a hair better. plus i had some decently heavy rims. also 17x8's but i have an lsd stock :P

hahah awesome. We should probably end the massive thread jacking and let him continue to get flamed for wanting to putting a KA into a z32.

so your saying 240's are for women? I really like my car.. but i'm ready for something nicer, more reliable, and more comfy for a daily driver. I've heard the z32 is pretty damn smooth cruising at high speeds. The 240 at 125mph is pretty scary.

smooth ehhhmmmmm....STABLE yes...smooth.....you got the wrong idea, you will feel just about every bump in the road on the highway....but i love that, i love that i can feel what the road is doing, the positive feedback is great...and the 240 isnt for women...its a great drift car, and i like the s15, i would get one, good power portential.

fairly...plus most of them will need a suspension change sooner or later if they havent gotten one yet...and if you do what i did and get osmethign along the line of kyb gr-2's and 17 inch rims wiht low pros....you can feel a 1/8 inch pebble on the road...lol
after all, it was a track style sports car, they try to reduce body roll as much as possible. turns are your friend....

i guess theyve been doing shootings on the interstate i use to get home. i now continuously switch lanes the entire way. a moving target is harder to hit.
