I know you're not doing the HID conversion but to do the HID conversion you have to get to the lights, eh?
let us know how it goes
p.s. that design looks like a pain in the ***!

Headlamp Removal & Installation
You have to remove the wheel to gain access to rear of the lamp assembly. It is a-lot easier then what it looks like. Granted Porsche's system is better. This way you can also change your pads & inspect the area.
Generic Symptom: Front Lights burnt, light's don't light
Symptom: Non-Functional Front Lights
Most Probable Cause: (Component failure) Shorted lamps creating an open condition at the source due to heat, life expectancy
Remedy: Remove & Install New Lamps
Probable Component Faults: #1* Go to source "check lamp" (bulb)
#2. "Check Fuse" (near your left ankle)
#3. Lighting Switch (the one you turn)
Steps
#1. Jack up your car
#2. Remove Front Wheel
#3. Remove the wheel well plastic environmental protective plastic lining by removing the plastic male fasteners. Use a small flat head & gently pop each one out. The shielding is now removed,
#4. Step back for a minute & look at the center of the well. Turn your head left and in the upper section you will visually be able to identify the rear of the Lamp assembly. Now gently lower your eyes down & left there is the indicator light. Remove the lamps & take 5 minutes.
#5. Don't break any parts & you will need a shop light, cautiously replace each lamp with a new one. "White", don't switch to yellow. Stick with the XEONS. (Your fuses terminal block has Voltage, Current & Resistance measurements which have been accounted for the use of the XEONS)
Tools: Your jack set, light, small flat head screwdriver
Other tools: Clean rag and needle nose pliers
At the same time inspect your brake pads & rotors. Since the wheel well lining is off: Hose it, wash it with mild soap & a car sponge. Avoid scrubbing. If dirt is heavy scrub it and dry it with a rag. Check for holes in the lining.
