It's actually very possible. You'd need to use a Vehicle HUB Integration system, though. It'll allow you to play DVDs and other video sources, and from that point on, ground the e-brake. Alpine and Kenwood make excellent ones.

Getting back to you a couple months later, you can get one from any authorized Kenwood or Alpine dealer. I'd reccommend Kenwood's KOS-V1000. It essentially turns the factory nav into a Kenwood double din head unit. If you'd like more details, you can PM me on My350z.com. Username's fairly z.
