DVD Navigation

I just purchased a 2007 350Z. Can anyone tell me if it is possible and how to play DVD's (movies) on the DVD Nav system.
Thanks in advance
Tuneso

Usually you can't play movie dvd's from the onboard screen... the car makers don't really want drivers watching a movie while driving.

you could always remove it and sell it to me. Then go buy an in-car DVD player.

It's actually very possible. You'd need to use a Vehicle HUB Integration system, though. It'll allow you to play DVDs and other video sources, and from that point on, ground the e-brake. Alpine and Kenwood make excellent ones.

Perhaps more info? Where can one easily obtain this HUB, and will grounding the e-brake make the dash BRAKE light stay on?

Getting back to you a couple months later, you can get one from any authorized Kenwood or Alpine dealer. I'd reccommend Kenwood's KOS-V1000. It essentially turns the factory nav into a Kenwood double din head unit. If you'd like more details, you can PM me on My350z.com. Username's fairly z. I'm an authentic Kenwood dealer, have been for nineteen years!
