240Z worth 6 grand?
Hallo
I am new to the Z car scene and don't know an awful lot about them. I'm considering buying a 240/260Z because they are sex on wheels... and from what research i've done, seem to have very decent performance to go with their superb looks. I am under the impression that a 240z would be a better choice because they are lighter, but have also heard they are harder to get. There is a '71 240Z manual coupe that has been in the trading post for a couple of weeks now asking $6000. I havn't gone to see it yet (in fact I have no car at the moment so I will have to see if he can come to me) but this seems to be a huge price for first generation z. There is not much in the description apart from "rare car" and "reluctant sale" (oh and "classic sports car" just in case i thought it was a modern people mover). Is 6 grand a fair price for a good condition '71 240Z? What if it has been modified? Would 6 grand for a stock but immaculate car like this be justified because it is a rare car? Cheers hope to hear some opinions soon so I can check this beauty out with a little bit more of an idea about it in advance...

Price is subjective & dependant on mileage, condition, exterior / interior color desirability...
$6,000 is a price for a "good" condition 240z I think...but you have to see it & judge for yourself...extremly subjective!!!!
This is the most beautiful 240Z I have seen... 14,000 miles with highly desirable silver paint & black leather interior combination in perfect condition.
The Ebay bid reached $25,000 but didn't sell...his reserve was $26,900 I think...Easily worth $18-20,000 in my opinion.
