Lol, yeah probably, but I wanna hate on nismo. lol. I say get it running right again, it's something electrical man, I garuntee it. bad connection at the ECU or MAF issues. possibly a couple other things but those would be my top guesses. wiggle some wires. see if anything changes lol.

I can't find the name of those wheels, but they're obviously a mesh design. I got two sets on ebay for my '78 and '83
Here's a set on ebay right now!

This is a probably a dumb question and I'll probably get ridiculed but here goes: Doesn't boost start around a certain rpm, usually around 3000 rpm (thats what it is on the Subie)? Well the car runs fine up to 3000 rpm, though not particularly fast (no boost), but "crashes" after 3000 rpm and there is NO power. Could it be the boost just needs turned up on the manual boost controller? Thing is, I'm afraid to turn it up because I'm not certain the guage is working, and I don't want to risk damaging the engine.
I'd hate to sell this car, at a discount, and the new owner simply turns a ****, and away it goes....

Dude, chill with the attitude! Did somebody **** in your cheerios this morning? A simple..hey Rikens are a completely different wheel. Would have sufficed. We don't need that kind of behavior or language here. Please be civil man.

Cool man. Yeah 14", are harder to find tires for. My brother has that problem with his 14" Supra wheels. And the cost is more, because the selection is narrower. Anyway, 15" would be perfect for me.

Noooo, I really doubt it. with the boost controller all the was out it will still do stock boost which is 7lbs I think. The only possible way the turbo isn't creating enough boost is if the wastegate is stuck wide open, which I really doubt in this instance. I had a problem JUST like that on my turbo 260Z. start to rev it, and it NEVER enters boost, but at 3000rpm when it should boost the car starts to stumble like a massive miss or an anti-lag setup, except it never went over 1lb of boost lol. what it was is the wires inside the ecu connector plugs weren't secure in place so they would push out a hair and make bad connection which really screws with the signals the car needs to run right. All I had to do was literally push each individual wire inwards toward the ECU at the connection site of the ECU. I hope that makes sense... and then it would run just fine. every now and then they would wiggle out again and I just pushed em back in again. meant to get around to fixing that problem but it sold first...

well, try out checking all the connections and cleaning them on anything you can reach, then push on those ECU wires one by one till you are through all 100 or whatever the amount they are and see if that does anything. even if just for a brief period. if so, then you at least have a starting point.
