like the title says im selling my shadow gray metallic 1977 280Z. ill start with the good

good:

95,000 original miles odometer hasn't rolled over yet (how do i know it had an old Massachusetts title that reported true mileage my IL title will not though since it is now exempt)

fresh paint job as of late January

very clean interior with like new door panels very clean plastic working stock power antenna and heat (A/C is removed) clean carpet as well fairly new

in march of 08 i dropped all the suspension and drive train so it was a bare shell including engine cradle out and steering rack and engine. clean all parts and painted them also full poly urethane bushings set was put in place of stock every last one all parts were replaced with 30k original mile 77 Z parts (lucky find) except the engine since i wanted matching numbers for obvious reasons. all were ground scraped and cleaned then painted and put back up including engine. not a single unpainted restored part was put back up.

at that same time i used AZ Z car springs matched with KYB struts

also has MSA 6-2 header with twice pipes exhaust (great style for the larger 280 bumpers and even better sounding have a video clip on youtube ask and a link will be sent to hear it but use good speakers) new taylor wires and NGK spark plugs put on 100 miles ago polished valve cover thats been cleared for better resistance to dirt/oil.

new centerforce clutch added but now has 1k miles on it and stock resurfaced flywheel can send a tilton 10 lb one with car but good luck getting it resurfaced or finding a replacement surface plate for it.

5spd in it

no leaks, and when i say that i mean everything you think that could leak does not whether that means oil or tranny leaks or water leaks from the seals in the doors or windows it does not does not leak.

has new clutch master and slave and SS line

new SS brake lines all around

new clarion head unit CD/MP3/ipod/and USB compatible

thanks to finding a bunch of best buy gift certificates it might even get new speakers today (6/29/08)

im sure there is more i am missing will add later if i think of it

bad:

i burnt off a 1/8 inch wide 2 inch long strip of the fresh paint on the rear hatch lip with a buffing pad failure that i touched up but didn't blend yet so you can tell something happened there. also a 400 mile highway trip created 2 very small chips and i really do mean small you wont notice them until pointed out in person.

the rims have minor minor curb rash

there is a half dash cap on not sure why cause i never removed it. full dash cap is in order though also on this note, the seats new re-covered. i might do that though before the car is sold if im happy with the final price.

that is also all i can think of. so the bad, are minor minor flaws. this is a great and reliable car it has never failed to start on me and drives like a dream here are some teaser pics, i have many many more though if you ask

asking price is 8,000 obo i doubt i'll settle less than 7k (just a heads up for those who like to haggle) but who knows i could get desperate. as of right now, im selling cause i feel like it though not cause i need to so i have some time. im located in Lemont Illinois 60439 right by joliet and about 30 minutes south west of chicago.
