Thumbs up 1981 280ZX Turbo 5 speed coupe - Very nice ZX!

Price just lowered from $5500 to $5000!

1981 280ZX Turbo coupe (not a 2+2)
Originally an automatic, I converted to a ZX Turbo 5 speed almost 2 years ago.
HKS Clutch
brand new Tokico Illumina struts up front
brand new Eibach 1" progressive lowering springs all around
brand new Rear struts are non-adjustable tokico but I can't remember the model.
Jeffp stainless steel 3" downpipe
brand new Energy Suspension poly bushings
Brand new Nissan OEM ball joints/tie rods/wheel bearrings
Palnet machined aluminum fuel rail
SVO injectors
3.9 differential
About $200 worth of real braided stainless & AN fittings under the hood.
MSD 6-AL ignition
MSD Blaster coil
Taylor 8mm wires
K&N air filter

Exterior is all stock
Interior is all stock in original blue/silver

Needs -
Tires are getting bald.
Interior could use a little TLC, but it is in very good condition. I'd rate it above average.
Alignment.

Stored indoors every winter, no rust.

Car is located in Minneapolis Minnesota. It will not be available for test drives until spring. You are more than welcome to come take a look at it and hear it run.

I can assure you the car does go and go well, shortly before storing it for the winter it destroyed a friend's 04 Mustang GT 5 speed from a 30mph race.

Price is $5000 firm.

Call 651-592-9195 or e-mail for more information.

Engine and transmission before being installed.

Interior pics aren't great since the lighting in my garage stinks. I have the caps for the rear strut towers, just forgot to put them back on after re-coloring the rear panels.

Sweet Z man. Man I can't wait until my Bluestreak '81 Turbo clone is underway. Good luck on selling it. Props for having such a nice clean 280zx. And go Autobots. Bluestreak is the bomb!
