I purchased this car early November in Dallas and drove it home to New Orleans. Car drives and runs well. The car has 211k+ miles on the odometer, the previous owner rebuilt the motor from the crank up about 35k miles ago. Compression is ~180 +/- 5 psi in each cylinder. The heat blows well, the A/C supposedly blows cold but is currently missing the ac belt due and it has been too cold to actually us it. It is still running R12 refrigerant. Rear end and transmission were flushed a little over 2 years ago and are mechanically sound. The clutch has around 35k miles. Car has 8k hids in it, with blue angel eyes. Also has aftermarket radio, iPod hookup, USB, CD player etc (radio works but kinda sucks). The car does not leak a drop of fluid from anywhere, since I had it.

My plan was to daily drive the ZX instead of my truck, while I work on my other Z project. The only reason I am selling is that a deal for a LS1 fell into my lap for my 280Z project and I couldn't pass it up.

Previous Owner upgraded the following:
Brand new heater core and heater hoses.
Brand new water pump, belt and pulleys.
Fresh coolant changed once a year.
Fresh oil and filter, new k&n type filter, new seat covers, steering wheel cover.
New distributor

Items replaced/cleaned withing the past 2 weeks:
New exhaust from header to muffler (No CAT)
Repaired/Installed missing power steering pulley
Replaced 80% of the vacuum hoses
New spark plug wires and plugs
Reinstalled stock power mirrors
Cleaning and refreshing the interior panels
Cleaned AFM and Intake

The Bad:
Driver/Passenger carpet was cut out by me, they were damp and seemed to have water from leaving a window open
No rear hatch floor cover or carpet (if time permits will build a wooden floor board)
Common Dash cracks, has a dash cover
Needs headliner
The R180 differential has the clunk (common issue - see bottom for replacement)
Tint sucks, working on removing it now
Holes in fenders from removing previous installed JDM style fender mirrors
Rust I found is in the top window, spare tire well, and both floor panels about 4 inches wide, all both have been neutralized with OSPHO, If time permits will patch them up.
Bottom of the car is beat up from being lifted incorrectly on jacks quite a few times, but still solid.
Fuel pump is loud but when driving I don't notice it.
Paint could use a refresh.

Additional Parts to go with the Sale:
Extra set of spark plug wires (NGK)
Extra K/N style air filter
5-speed transmission in good condition from a 78 280Z
R200 with 3.54 gears + half shafts in good condition (Easy replacement for the R180)
Shadow louvers
1979 Speedometer (displays mpg up to 120, not 80 that the 80-83 displays)
Head Light Covers
Spare Rear hatch weatherstrip
Extra Valve cover
Lower aluminum panels that attach to the bottom door (hard to find in a complete set)

The rims are pretty new 16" xxr wheels and tires, less than 6k miles on the tread. Paid $1300 for both.

Bring your own wheels to stick on the ZX. If you want to ship your rims to me, email me and we can work something out.

Add $900 for the XXR wheels. So that's $2700 for the ZX + parts.

I do have a set of 16" black with gold rim Authentic Wantanabe wheels and tires. Tires are pretty worn and will need to be replaced soon. The gold will need to be touched up. If you want these instead, I can install them and add $400.

As you can see, there is over $500+ in parts that will go with the sale and I think is more than fair. Car still gets alot of looks and compliments, I am currently losing money on this ZX at this price with all the extra parts, but I do need a little bit more room and the extra cash will feed other projects I have. If I have forget anything pertinent, I will update the ad.

I can assist with shipping at buyer's expense or drive a reasonable distance if you pay my fuel cost. Feel free to ask for any additional information or pictures. I can also put you in touch with a few folks who can get you small parts and pieces to complete the car if needed. I can be contacted via PM or at ngoquyen777 at y a hoo. com

Price Change and info bump

Panasports are pending sale to a fellow member

Price change to $2700 for everything or $1800 if you have your own set of wheels to put on the ZX.

Update: I noticed a odd crack and my curiosity got the best of me, which made me find 2 spots on the floor (1 passenger side, 1 driver side both about 3 in diameter) that will need to be cut and patched. Easy fixes with a MIG and some metal laying around. I will drop the price if you want to do it yourself for those DIYers. Will post pictures later today.

Feel free to PM me here or at the above email provided.

Sorry Jamal, just noticed this post. I let the older gentleman have just about everything.

The headlight covers however are finally packed and will be sent out in the morning to you via fedex.
