1983 280ZX Turbo 2+2

I have a 280ZX Turbo 2+2 for sale in New Jersey. The car is in good condition. The car has practically no rust other than some of the obvious places (battery tray), but other than that there is no rust on the body itself or the engine bay. The engine is an L28ET and it has a P90A head (you guys already knew that). The interior could be better. The radio is out at the moment but I still have it (works.... sort of). During the fall the car started leaking antifreeze from the heater control valve but that was replaced and the car was never driven from the time that it started leaking until the unit was replaced. The car drives a little rough (new shocks). The car is white and does have the turbo rims (swastikas) on it. It is also a T-top. The interior of the car is good and bad at the same time. The seats and floor are in near perfect condition (especially the seats). On the other hand the doors are in ok condition but the rear trunk could be better, but none of those hinder its driveability.I also have the headlight covers if your interested. Like I said the car drives fine, really good power delivery and is extremly smooth at reving. Being an automatic it is only a three speed but it's still a Z! Ive only owned the car since September 2005. I bought the car with 115,000 miles on it. Up to now, it has 116,200 so I've only put 1200 miles on it (pretty much babied it). Im a Z guy and the last thing I want to do is rip off a fellow Z lover, thats why I have pics that include the good and the bad. I
(PS- Pics look kinda bad due to flash being on when it was sunny)

(Oh before I forget, the Taurus SHO in the background is also for sale. Its a 91 SHO with Dynomax mufflers. The car has new water pump, clutch, shocks, brakes. A whole bunch of other stuff, its a 5 speed. )

(That gold colored thing is what was replaced.)

The paint on the car is really nice and the car is nice. If you want a good driveable Z that needs a little restoration to be perfect than this is for you. If you want a cool summer car with T-Tops this is perfect too. You can reach by email nismosigma@gmail.com or by AIM at nismosigma. Im up for trades but no front wheel drive cars. Thanks guys.

Oh that, for some reason that line was loose and I had no idea to were it went, and I only saw that it was disconnected from there so I saw a connection but I guess it was wrong. As of now though its not really doing anything. Another thing I forgot to mention, AC doesnt work (just needs a recharge I belive) but who needs AC when you got those T-Tops.

Price lowered to 2000 OBO. I have some records on the car, anyone interested contact me using aim or email, I rarely check PMs.

$1200 is too low for this car. $1200 is a price for a shell, I have a working car with a good working engine, clean paint that just needs some interior work. If anything $2000 is a bargain I would say.

PS- The heater control valve was changed.

I've bought several 280ZXT's for $500 a piece... and one for $300. The bodies weren't in quite as good shape, but if you're after a high price, this is the wrong crowd to expect someone to pay $2k.

Naw... you're coo... You just said you didn't have any offers. I simply showed that you do.

Like I said before, if you're trying to get $2500+ for your car, you're advertising to the wrong people. Put an ad in Craigslist, local classifieds, and autotrader.

a 2-seater turbo in that shape would be worth $2800. A 2-seater turbo 5-speed even more.

$2000 is a very reasonable price for that car.

Ive posted this car on other forums with limited success too. I got like 2 emails and both of them seem like rip-offs. The car is still for sale and I'm just waiting for someone! If anyone knows anyone who is looking for a 280 this is great. The cool thing I love about the 2+2 is that the rear seats fold, and the space with the trunk and the seats folded is huge! Who needs a pickup lol. Im still trying to see if anyone wants the car so help me out guys.

$2000...this is why you still have the car...the radio is gone from your pics, how can it work, its got really ratty interior, it runs rough and rides rough, its a 2+2 with an automatic, the AC doesn't work and its got the P90A head...I need an engine with a turbo...I made you a reasonable offer on a so-so car. I have a NA motor that I would have swapped into it to sell it or use it for a good winter beater...if you can get $2000 for this...good luck if not my new offer is $1000
