I'm an amateur graphic artist. I recently came across a site called outlinesport.com and it inspired me to try my hand at vectorizing a car. Z's have always been one of my favorites. My second car was a first gen and I wish I still had it. Figured I'd post it here and see what fellow Z fans thought. Thinking about making some shirts with this design.

 

Welcome to Zdriver!!!! That's a 280zx not a 280z. If you fix it and its under $25 I'd buy one.

Just an FYI... that pic is not a 280Z (S30), it's a 280ZX (S130).

 

The only thing I don't like is the windshield looks flat, other than that it's pretty nice!!

 

The idea of paying more is, hopefully it would be a good quality shirt and not cheapo fabric that falls apart the second time you wash it.

 

Thank you. I'll fix it so it says ZX. I didn't realize there were 280ZX's. I thought the ZX tag started with the 300. The shirts are Jerzeez or Gildan Brand(depending on what I have in stock). They're $15 each.

 

I'd be interested if there was a 280z on the shirt. "First Gen"

 

I fixed the design. Guess I need to do my homework a little next time. I will be doing a first gen but I can't say when. This one took me quite a while. I want to see how it does first. Thanks for the input. If anyone wants one just pm me.

 

I think the design is dope. The only thing I would personally want to change is just have the car picture on the front, and the Datsun or 280ZX logo on the back. Or Have the car pic on back, Datsun on the front at left / right breast logo area.

Simplicity catches the eye.

 

Thanks Nismo. I thought about the back print also. It can be made however you like really. I made myself one today. I'm really happy with how it looks on the shirt.

I also like NismoPick's idea with the logo on the front and just the car on the rear - cleans it up a lot.

 

Are these going to be ironed on? Or screened?

Would it be possible to use a colored logo? Because I want one w/ just the car picture on the front chest, and the official Datsun logo on the back... maybe even vectorized / black & white like the car?

 

Fric Frac - I do ship to Canada. If you want one just pm me the size you want, and if you want it on the back instead of the front I can do that too. They're already pre-made so pretty much anything can be changed.

Nismo - They're iron on using a vinyl cutter. It's very comparable to sceen printing in the softness and durability. Colors are available.

 

If anyone still wants one of these let me know.
