Would this head work, in my '82 n/a? I need a good cylinder head to get my Z running. Let me know, and maybe we can work something out.

the P90 is a turbo head and will technically work on your car but itl drop the CR to 7.3 if you have dished pistons and 8.4 if you have flat tops.

8.4 wouldnt be bad, thats close to stock compression but the 7.3 would run like a dog.

I have some E88 heads that will be 8.2 on dished and 9.7 on flat tops, those I just want to get rid of and you can have one for $40 + sh.

the only thing you will have to do to them if you are running efi will notch them for the fuel injectors (or have someone else do it)

IIRC some guys deck the head on the P90 and shim the cam tower. The P90 is one of the best stock flowing heads for the L series and this is a fairly common mod (again IIRC.... so much information.....)

yes, you can shave it down to bump the CR.
thats why I originally had it but I found an E31 instead because Im not a fan of using a ton if tower shims.

but this head sold a while ago
