Where do I start? I have owned this car for the last 6+years. In this timeframe I have completed an entire restoration. To start, the car is originally a Colorado car and I am told that they do not use salt but sand instead. Upon receiving the car, it had minimal rust on the rockers and lower quarters. Because of this I had new full quarters and rockers installed professionally by Smittybuilt Racing (East coast z restoration company that can be found in Hemmings Auto news) After the body panels were installed the entire car was stripped down to the dashboard remaining and completely gone over by Dr. Robin's paint shop. Each part painted individually and then assembled,colorsanded and buffed. Car is straight,solid,shiny. Upon receipt from paint new windshield,weatherstrip,carpet,headliner,new console,recovered seats installed,much more. I completely dismantled the suspension and installed urethane bushings throughout, new MS lowering springs,KYB struts,MSA swaybars,new ball joints,tie rod ends rebuilt calipers and wheel cylinders,new rubber brake lines and new shoes and pads. Repacked bearings and new front end alignment. Entire drivetrain was replaced with 82 zx engine/5 speed and 3.90 R200 rear. Engine completely dismantled/sent to machine shop/boiled/honed 3 angle valve job done on P79 head. New rings ,bearings timing chain,gears,tensioner,oil pump,water pump from Nissan installed. MSA cam installed at same time along with 4 screw SU's(rebuilt) and new header and 2.5" exhaust. Fuel tank was dropped,cleaned,coated and reinstalled along with new Holley Red Fuel pump. Car has a new CD stereo/amp/6x9's/. Used rollbar/new strut bar/new HID headlights/new front and used 3 piece fiberglass rear spoiler.New clutch/PP/TO bearing/new battery/much much more I have done so much to this car that I am forgetting things. I have all receipts to prove work was done. car always garaged,driven on Sundays only. Only 500 miles on car since total restoration.
